Make A Play Foundation

The Make A Play Foundation (MAP) is a nonprofit that provides professional training and career development opportunities for high-performing underrepresented student athletes of color. Cameron was consulted to help define the brand, bring it to life, and lead marketing and outreach efforts to launch the nonprofit. As a former athlete and son of a former NFL player, Cameron utilized his knowledge of sports branding and marketing to help MAP transform their brand, and creatively tell the MAP story throughout all creative media, programming, digital marketing, and more. Cameron developed the organization’s logo and branding, led creative design, and advised on marketing and brand launch.

Bringing the brand to life

A key differentiator for MAP is the organization’s ability to tell stories and connect with student athletes through sports motifs and concepts. Cameron led the development and visualization of sports concepts across our social media, promotional materials. logos, graphics, pitch decks, online curriculum, programming and more, Cameron created a unique brand and visual identity that is familiar, relatable, and exciting for student athletes. The successful implementation of that branding has made MAP distinguishable to corporate partners, securing 23 partners within the first six months of launch. Cameron leads teams and committees to execute operational activities and advises on organizational development, events, marketing and brand positioning.
